What a copy cat!!!-2

A blog friend, the alpha numeric, D2, said it and it seems I could not hold myself from posting this.

Here goes yet another example of perfect copy cat.

The video of the Hindi song, that now stands guilty at my trial court...sorry friends...I just got too excited!!

Raja Ko Rani Se

Here is the song 'Raja Ko Rani Se' from movie 'Akele Hum Akele Tum'.

raaja ko raani se pyaar ho gayaa

The king fell in love with the queen;

pahali nazar mein pahala pyaar ho gaya
from the very first glance sprang his very first love.

dil jigar donon ghaayal huye
The hearts of both were wounded

tir-e-nazar dil ke paar ho gaya
by an arrowed glance that breached the hearts' walls.

raaja ko raani se pyaar ho gayaa...
The king fell in love with the queen...

raahon se raahein baahon se baahein milke bhi milti nahin
Yet in finding the path, in discovering an embrace, neither their path nor their embrace is assured.

hota hai aksar armaan ki kaliyaan
This often happens; the buds of desire,

khilke bhi khilti nahin
blossoming, do not flower.

phir bhi na jaane kyon nahin maane...
Even so, who knows why it did not obey...

diwaana dil beqaraar ho gaya
the mad heart grew uncontrollably restless.

raaja ko raani se pyaar ho gaya...
The king fell in love with the queen;

raani ko dekho nazarein mili
to Look at the queen; meeting her gaze,

aankhein churaane lagi
she hid her eyes (for shame).

karti bhi kya voh sar ko jhukaake
What else could she do; bowing her head,

kangana ghumaane lagi
her bangles began to twirl.

raaja ne aisa jaaduu chalaaya...
Such was the spell that the king cast...

na karte karte ikaraar ho gaya
even as she demurred, she consented.

And now the source of the copied one.....none other than "The Godfather".

Friends, families and enemies, waiting for your noble heart warming comments...com'on Charlies let it flow...here.

Anu Malik and even R.D Burman were copycats..
They lifted tunes staright off from brilliant composers.
Check thishttp://www.angelfire.com/music4/sangeet/copiedsongs.html
a long list of plagiarism in Bollywood songs.

Bollywood and Plagiarism

It's unnerving!

What do you expect from Anu Mallik? I think even there are a lot of new composers too who do remixes of classics and then call it theirs. Remember Ram Laxman of Maine Pyar Kiya fame? All the songs are literally ripped off from the internet...
