The nightingale

The nightingale is flying with me...
She is souring high
Flying in circles
A little above
Sometimes settling on my shoulders...

As I hear a chinese flutist plays...

Somewhere near...
Somewhere close...

Yet I don't spread my wings.
Don't allow the wind
Carry me afloat.
I don't want
To fly
To be caged again.
I want to walk
A little more.
Just a little more...
To breathe in...
To live a life time
In moments that I have...

( A friend made me listen to the song and the poem was an immediate outflow of my feelings...It was not easy enough for me to express my feelings for lot got lost through pening down all that transpired within my heart.)

This is so exquisite. I love nightingale's (any bird). There is such a spiritual quality to this, and the music is wonderful.

Fantastic write! I can totally understand your leeriness in penning thoughts down, I am sort of the same way, however, it's in what I write that I get to flush out what's in my mind that I never really intend for others to hear...
