The red flag of old days

Courtesy @ Walter Parada

The red flag,
drooped down,
The shoulders of Atlas,
Failed to hold,
Caracas of the Old Red Man,
Communism, saw,
Its fate,
turning into stone,
As a white clad Woman,
ushered the age of Green.

This poem depicts the political change that took place in the state of West Bengal; there is not need to draw out bias thoughts from the above lines, for the poet is a witness, and practices a apolitical viewpoint.

Good flow, images, word choices - efficacious piece.
