The Waiting

There she stood
At my door step
Wondering how to
Call my name...
Stealing glances...
Was she?

I stood
Waiting to
Hear
Her voice
See her face
Hidden behind
The muslin veil...

She stood there
And I waited here

Silence breathed
In between.

Who discovered this silence?
So many people would have been happier had it not been in existence! Even you I suppose, wouldn't you?
Or not (quiet possible)?

this what Aritra a blog friend of mine had to say:

I could feel the twinge in my heart
The rush of blood in my veins.

But I couldn't...
Couldn't move my feet at all.

Suddenly the silence was broken
By the sound of her returning steps.
