A Perfect Elopement

It so seems that,
My spirit
Is no longer
With me.
A beating heart
Within this rib cage,
Moans aloud
Suggesting its absence,
Now and then.
My spirit was eloped
A tryst or so,
I had previously thought,
When I first saw them together.
But little did I know,
The clandestine affair
Would leave
Me, barren...
In the days to come.
My spirit has eloped,
With none..
But the wild, rain clouds,
With the brothers
Of thunderstorm,
With the keepers
Of madding shower...
With the masters of
Those who left...
Drenching my nerves...
The other weary day.

No I am not on FB...I find it hard to maintain so many things at once...Two blogs, life, rat race...I wish I had 48 hours to called as one day...

@ Sayak...well you indeed said some thing, or am I going blind...!

I fell short of words to describe my appreciation for this poem of yours. I couldn't have left my admiration unexpressed, hence I resorted to the usage of "WOW", the commonest of all shows of utter amazement.

And you're anything but blind, in every sense. Your poems prove that you look at the world wide-eyed.

Smart blogger I must admit...WoW is common...And an ideal friend when you run out of words of appreciation...at the same time we love to use it when we are in a hurry to appease the other person...a perfect PR tool.
jokes apart and thus random musings apart..it is good to see people actual read about what I have to say...thanx buddy...I hope we are already? are we?

Yes, of course we are.
And you deserve the thanks, it's your poem that left me speechless, err wordless. :)
I need to increase my vocabulary. :(
